Instant Feedback - Friday Night Freestyle

A few observations/comments from Friday's local prep hoop slate:
The rim is still rattling in the Seaholm gym from Shawn Conway's fourth quarter alley-oop slam dunk in the Maples 63-50 home win over Brother Rice. The high-flying Conway got buck like Michael Redd in the Seaholm victory by scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
On the subject of going buck wild on the comp, Conway's cuz, Richaud Pack went all RICHAUD PACK on the visiting Warriors, scoring 29 points and helping the Maples storm back from a late-first half deficit to claim the team's second win in as many tries.
Burney is telling all of his prep hounds and ammature hs hoop gurus to listen up….or I guess read up in this specific case…lol:
Don't sleep on West Bloomfield's soft-handed and sly-moving big man Spencer Parker. Now, I know Parker didn't make the Opress' Top 50 players in the OC this past week, but i'm imploring people not to look past this kid. He's legit.
Exhibit A – Parker scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as well as notching the game-winning free throw with 3.5 seconds left on the clock, to give the Lakers a 58-57 road win over Canton.
Parker's teammate, Larry "Lil' Gran Mama" Johnson, Jr., did a pretty good impression of his pops in the WB triumph, scoring 12 points and hauling down 15 rebounds.
RH Lutheran Northwest's Steve Miscovich got his boom boom pow on in his Crusaders 65-55 win over AA Greenhills. Steve, you did the Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas proud!
Joe Baker told Warren Mott that he was Christopher Columbus and they were just the Pilgrims as he sank a pair of free throws with 1.5 ticks remaining to pull out the 49-49 win for the Trojans. Baker dropped a game-high 21 points in the dramatic effort as well.
Fast-riser Samer Ozier of Novi is starting to approach swagger-level 100,000 trillion with his early-season output. The Wildcats are 2-0 and Ozier is playing out of his mind. On Friday night, he had 25 points and 16 rebounds in Novi's 75-49 drubbing of WL Northern. Get busy my main man, Samir!
AH Avondale's Tony Harris and Ray Tillman looked like Zeke and Joe D from their Bad Boys Pistons' 89/90 heydey, torching the twine for 23 points apiece in the Yellow Jackets 68-59 win over Lake Orion.
What about the all the great boyz hoopsters of Waterford: Both Mott and Kettering are coming on strong early, each going 2-0 in the first week of season. Props to Brandon Carlson (32 points) of Kettering and Devontay Green (28 points) and John Schaeffer (20 points) or Mott, who all played magnificently in their teams' big time wins on Friday night.
