Top Five Underclassmen Baseball Players In The OC:
1 Greg Fettes (MH Lamphere) – could be the best catcher in the state right now as a junior and I'm talking offense and defense..u can just start calling the Rams' Juggernaut "Junior G-Man" Rajan Rondo 'cause this 'Cat is bound for Lexington and UofKentucky in 2012!
2 a Mike Mestdagh (Groves) – great athlete, sick versatility ("5…er…6-tool player"), massive growth potential ...committed to MSU
2 b Blaise Salter (OL St. Mary's) – SPECIMEN…enough said! ....committed to MSU
3 Jimmy Pickens (Brother Rice) – hits for power and average and is a master of the "snap-throw out" to first and third in the middle of at-bats.
4 Mitch Kozlowski (MH Lamphere) – as a good of a lead-off hitter and centerfielder than you can find in the whole area
5 Sean Lau (Royal Oak) – best freshman hitting prospect I have ever seen in 20-plus years of watching prep sports
