OC Top 10
Birmingham Brother Rice – Senior hurler Mike Ruppenthal looks just as lethal from the slab lately as his little bro Matt does
MH Bishop Foley – Team Sunde is in cruise control mode until Comerica Park....YEAH, I SAID IT!!
Lake Orion – Dragons' SUPER SOPH Brad Schaenzer keeps getting better and better every time he steps on the diamond…..Now, that's SCARY!!!The young man is racking up K's like his name was Justin Verlander. MSU took notice last week and offered him a full ride.
AH Avondale – 'Jackets' pitcher A.J. Susick mows them down from the mound with so much poise and precision, I've decided to nickname him "The Lawnmower"!!!!!
BH Andover – Sophomore Todd Weiss has been hitting the ball extremely well the past couple weeks!!....Just another piston firing at top speed for the stacked Barons BALLER CREW!!!
(tie) WL Western – Junior centerfielder Nik Heglin has one of the best batting averages in the state so far this season, hitting .552……Man, this kid can SMASH with the stick in his hands!!!
(tie) WL Central – Brett Gustafson looked more like former MLB Cy Young winner Brett Saberhagen last week, tossing a NO-NO against Pinckney
Stoney Creek – These Cougars are just sharpening up their fangs for the stretch run….I.E. there will be no early exit from districts like last spring!!
North Farmington – Raiders' skipper Mike O'Connell is one of the frontrunners for Burney's OC Coach of the Year with his performance in the dugout with the young and hungry 2012 NF Diamond Brigade!!!
Novi – Beginning to play up to potential, the team I'd least want to wind up facing come state tourney time next month!!!
Birmingham Groves – The return of MEGA BALLER Jake Balicki to the Falcons lineup spells TROUBLE for the comp in the OAA White!!!!
