Camping Out

There have been a load of TOP NOTCH individual performances from training camp on the local prep football scene this fall.

Here are some of the best:

Matt Kozmowlski (WL Northern) – SUPER STUD in the making. They call this kid 'Roadhouse' cause he kicks butt on the field like Patrick Swayze did in the classic old school movie Roadhouse

Eric Hudson (Berkley) – Will challenge AH Avondale's Michael Johnson for title of best senior tailback in the OAA Blue

Steve Guenther (Birmingham Seaholm) – Looking great replacing two-year starter John Glazier under center…a true leader!!!

Antonio McKelton (FH Harrison) – Named a captain of the Hawks powerhouse squad and will help anchor the team on both sides of the ball, as a linebacker on defense and lineman on offense. He's that guy that you don't know much about going into his senior year and then makes a MAJOR LEAGUE difference!!

Sean Scullen (Stoney Creek) – Burney's SUPERSONIC SLEEPER of the preseason. This KILLER of a Cougar will do it all for the CREEK this fall, after learning the ropes last year as a sophomore starter on both sides of the ball. You'll see Scullen decimating the comp this year in a variety of roles in TEAM ZUBE's arsenal, including quarterback, wide receiver and safety.

Darrian Spencer (Milford) – CALLING MY SHOT: Spencer will be the breakout star of the KLAA this season….MARK THAT DOWN!!!

Mitch Lascescki (WOLL) – Along with Garrett Ross, this Laker/Everest SIR-GRIND-A-LOT 3-sport star will be the heart and soul of TEAM BOYD this year!!!

J.T. Ayote (Novi Detroit CC) – Playmaking linebacker on the verge of HUGE campaign!!

Harrison Shelby (Oak Park) – A straight-up BEAST in the trenches that will fuel both sides of the line for the Knights in 2012

Marty Gianola (Oxford) – One of the primary WORKHORSE leaders of the Wildcats grid contingent that will be repping TEAM ROWLEY with a ferocious spirit at SMURF TURF central!!
