Since 2012, Seaholm program has sent 11 players to the D1 level (2 from Ivy League)
Jordan Herrick once scored seven touchdowns in one game, back in 1995 versus cross-town rival Groves
Tom Tracy scored a school-record 22 touchdowns in 1951. He also once returned an interception 101 yards for a score
Alex Bach suited up in more Seaholm varsity football games (39) than any other in program history, when he played for the Maples between 2003-2006
In a game against Southfield back in 2001, Aaron Cooper broke off a school-record 99-yard touchdown run
Jeff Costello holds the Maples single-game record for receptions with 11
Asa Sherwood, who was a star tailback for Seaholm in the late 1990s, is the Maples all-time leading rusher, for a season (1605), game (235) and entire career (3,915). He eclipsed the 100-yard mark in a game on 22 separate occasions.
John Glazier's 313 yards passing last season against Andover is the top single-game total in school history
Matt Wilde, who went on to play at Michigan, is the Maples all-time leader in career (1744) and single-season passing yardage (3694)
Lloyd Abramson, who also played in the Big 10 at Northwestern, threw the most touchdowns in a single-season, when he tossed 16 back in 1992
Joe Holland collected a whopping 17 sacks in 1983. Over his two-year varsity career, he racked up a program-best 30.
Eric Mariani made seven interceptions in 1981, on his way to a Maples' career-record 10 picks
David Schaeffer, who went on to kick in the Big 10 at Michigan State, booted 12 field goals in 1996 and holds Seaholm's career-record of splitting the uprights 25 times in three varsity campaigns. In addition to being a star placekicker & wide receiver on the gridiron he was also a starter on the Maples' 1997 Sweet 16 basketball team.
