It was a rough night, but a good week.
Bloomfield Hills Andover's Marcus McQueen ended his high school hoops career on Monday night, scoring 18 points in the Barons 92-64 loss at the hands of Birmingham Seaholm in districts.
Last week, though, he started his college playing career, signing a National Letter of Intent with Tuskegee University, down in Alabama (15-13 this season - including playing a game in East Lansing v. MSU -, after winning a league title last winter).
McQueen, a crafty, jet-quick point guard, was Andover's top player the past two seasons, averaging 16 points and five assists per game.
His sister, Janelle, who prepped at Farmington Hills Mercy, leading the Marlins to a district title as a senior, is currently playing her college ball at Texas Southern.
In this family, it's quite obvious they sport some pretty intense ROYALTY on the hardwood!!!
