Top 10 TEAMS
MH Bishop Foley – Slightly controversial pick as the OC's top diamond squad, but Burney will stick by his choice of the still-stacked two-time defending state champs in D3
(tie) Birmingham Brother Rice – Littered with college-level talent, this is the year the "Elite 8" (eight juniors that have been on varsity since they were fab frosh), takes it another step…..Next stop Cereal City in June!!!
(tie) Lake Orion – Could have the best pitching staff in the state…Dragons HUSTLING HURLER CREW roll call….Brad Schaenzer, Nick "The Big Unit" Deeg, Josh Bays and Nick Vogelmeyer
Farmington – The Falcons FANTABULOUS 1-2 tandem of seniors Connor Mohr and Tyler Tompson have the chance to take TEAM FINN flying to meteoric heights this spring
OL St. Mary's – Potential for a special season, with several dangerous weapons dotting the roster (i.e. Mike Hodgins, Will Salter, Devin Rose, Connor Bowers, Julian Jones and Tyson Smith, among others)
Novi Detroit CC – Most undervalued club in the STATE (Yeah, I SAID IT!!), lots of smart, savvy vets, very few, if any, true weaknesses in the line-up despite lacking any real "stars"
WL Western – TEAM LARGES is super steady across the board this year….on the mound (see MSU-commit Andrew Gonzales) they'll keep opponents guessing and at the plate (see batsmen extraordinaire Nik Heglin) they'll go all MIGGIE CABRERA
Clarkston – WOLFPACK on the prowl in the OAA once again…Nick Mazzone and Ryan Rea are quite a pair of STERLING SLUGGERS!!!
Stoney Creek – There are some STONE COLD STUDS (see sophomore shredder Eric Gilgenbach, junior Joe Cox and senior Kyle Schweiger) in the the Cougars line-up in 2013….THATS A FACT!!
WL Central – Will always be in the thick of the league and district race around here if Coach ROFFI is in the dugout…....MARK THAT DOWN!!
(tie) BH Andover – Barons' DIAMOND-CUTTING CREW ROLL CALL: Marlon "The Panther" Pruitt on the mound, Nick "The NEW BREED" Bredeson behind the plate and the heavy-hitting trifecta of Alec Mares, Todd Weiss and Perry Klemanski
(tie) RH Adams – Has the offense to do damage in the OAA, question for the Highlanders is if their pitching staff can get the job done
(tie) WL Northern – Ready to build on last season's city-title campaign
