Media day for the upcoming Kensington Lakes Activities Association prep football campaign took place Thursday.

Here is a name or two to keep an eye out for from the KLAA's 10 OC squads this year:

Jeff Baker & Emmanuel Jackson (Novi) – A tasty tandem in the backfield for TEAM BURNSIDE...Thunder (Baker) & Lightning (Jackson) in a bottle for the 'Cats

Nico Woods (South Lyon) – Shifty speedster set to carry the load for the Lions rushing attack…could be the surprise offensive star of the KLAA Central this season...WOODS=BIG WILLY BALLER!!

Evan Leary & Luke Marconcin (South Lyon East) – This pair of three-year captains and two-way stalwarts will make certain 2012 wasn't a fluke in COUGARTOWN...THAT'S A FACT!

Ross Heiman (Lakeland) – Breakout year under center on the horizon for this savvy field general....I mean is there any question considering the bloodline? I think not!

Cody Patterson (Walled Lake Central) – Tenacious mauler at the point of attack that will anchor IKE THE VIKE on both sides of the pigskin this fall...NAILS TUFF!!    

Chris Cliff (Walled Lake Northern) – Pure superstud of an athlete that is going be a SUPERSTAR wide receiver these next two years in KNIGHTSVILLE…..'Nuff said!!

Johnny Simmons (Walled Lake Western) – Instinctive and athletic presence on defense that will headline TEAM Z's linebacker corps....just pencil him in for 10 or so wrap-ups a game and we'll call it even!!

Danny Hubbell & Juan Webb (Waterford Kettering) – The Hubbell-to-Webb pass-catch duo will be making sweet, sweet music in 2013..THINK Diana Ross& The Supremes meets Stafford-to-MEGATRON

Louie Compton (Waterford Mott) – Under-the-radar pass-rush specialist that will be a handful to deal with for opposing blockers and signal-callers..THAT'S A BURNEY GUARANTEE!!
