Blogs > Burney's Bytes
Burney's Bytes will focus primarily on the local preps sports scene, but will also touch on some college and pro athletics, mostly in regards to athletes who hail and have played high school sports in Oakland County. My goal for the blog is to be conversational and anecdotal, a more relaxed and free formal take on high school athletics than you see in regular game day coverage.

7 (tie) WL Central – Still perfect, can you believe that? Team SPOLSKY's motto this winter should be CURTAINS & DRAPES FOR ANYONE WHO HATES
7 (tie) Troy Athens – Rounding into shape quite nicely, the Red Hawks appear to be the club to beat in the race for the OAA White…..Timmy Shayoka gets Burney's THERA-FLU Award for just being a SICK killer on the court lately
8 WL Western – Team Ra Ra is ready for league play in the KLAA…can u say RUN & GUN?
9 Birmingham Brother Rice – Wily Warriors off-guard Stephen Westbrooks is a BALLER and a SHOT CALLER!!
