The Valley It Is

"Mr. Rock Steady" aka Clarkston's Mitch Baenzinger has departed the DI ranks.
After logging the past two years on the hardwood at Oakland University, Baenzinger has transferred to D2 Saginaw Valley State and will be eligible immediately.
During his prep days, Baenzinger was a two-sport sensation for the Clarkston Wolfpack, earning all-league honors as both a quarterback on the gridiron and a point guard on the basketball court.
Coming on board with OU as a preferred walk-on, he eventually cracked the starting lineup for a period.
SVSU finished 9-17 in 2014 and Baenzinger's arrival will help fill a serious void; The Cardinals are losing Mike Fugate (Lakeland, another OC SIR-GRIND-A-LOT floor general, that is set to graduate next month.
