Now that we're a month into the prep baseball season, the picture that is the county diamond landscape is starting to take form. And because of that, Burney's rankings ara shaping up better than ever. So without further ramblings, here is what I think is my most accurate set of rankings so far this year.

OC Top 10

1 a RH Adams – My main man, Frank Guidice, has been residing at the corner of AWESOME and AMAZING. I think we may have a situation here, thus, I am nicknaming Frankie G "THA SITUATION".

1 b Groves – You can't stop my hard-hitting Falcons homeboy, Jake Balbes, you can only hope to contain him!

2 Lake Orion – The Dragons' "Double A Battery" known better as seniors Andy Mosier and Aiden Murdock have been putting a charge into the comp from the box all season long!

3 MH Lamphere – Question of the Day – is Rams junior Ryan Horvath a better QB in the fall, 3-point bomb specialist in the winter, or contact hitter in the spring? Talk about your tough calls! Ranked # 1 in D2 for a reason

4 Farmington – Matt Gutknecht is a straight out stud!

5 a Novi – I love me some Wildcats' skipper, Rick Green. Can this guy motivate from the dugout or what? Don't worry boys, Burney sees you doing what you do and doing it real well!

5 b WL Central – Burney sends out mad props to Karl Boedecker, whose been pitching a lot like former MLB stalwart Mike Boddicker lately, and earned himself a spot at the next level by inking with Heidelberg University last week.

6 Brother Rice – Get busy my main man, Jason Kelmigian!

7 AH Avondale – The Rigel name lives!!! Little bro, Super soph Kyle is getting his diamond on and doing his big bro, Donovan, proud while away at college!

8 a OLSM – Korey Hall, Theo Piccerelli, Devan Ahart, Blaise Salter, James Edwards…need I say more?

9 b MH Bishop Foley – Brett Sunde = One of the best sophomores in the area!

10 a Clarkston – The Wolfpack's Matt Rodgers is just so MONEY, and I am not sure that he knows it so I'm TELLING HIM.

10 b Oxford – "The Godfather"….er Mitch Stefanski is in the building! ALL OPPOSING PITCHERS WILL BE GUNNED DOWN!
