OC All-Decade – Kicker

1 Dave Rayner (Oxford) – One of the best special teams players to ever spawn from Oakland County, Rayner holds virtually every kicking record possible at his alma mater Oxford (2001 grad), where he earned all-state honors and started all four years, the final two as K, P and WR.  Played his college ball at Michigan State, leaving his time in East Lansing as the Spartans all-time leader in points and is currently in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals, having been drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 6^th RD of the 2005 Draft. In high school at Oxford was also an all-state soccer player.

2 Jeff Heath (Lake Orion) – Checks in at second place for the All-2000s simply because of his epic last second 49 yard FG in 2008 that propelled the Dragons past SH Stevenson and into the D1 state championship game. Also a starting WR and a member of the LO varsity basketball team, Heath is playing safety in college at Saginaw Valley State University.

3 Ryan Breen (Clarkston) – All-OAA and All-Oakland County kicker/punter as a senior in the fall of 2006 for the Clarkston Wolves, Breen started as a punter for Penn State last season. A member of C-Town's legendary varsity basketball squad in his prep winters, his foot could be accurately categorized as a cannon.

4 Mike Raab (Royal Oak Kimball) – Clutch and long is the best way to describe Raab's kicking style, being picked as a first-team all-state as a senior in 2003. Booted a school-record 53-yard FG his senior year, showing his merit as a long distance expert on the gridiron

5 Kevin Muma (Troy) – Named a Parade All-American in 2008 as a senior during the same season he started at quarterback and led the Colts into the playoffs. During his junior campaign in 2007, he kicked, punted and played wide receiver on a Troy team that won a district and regional title prior to being bumped out of the state tourney by Livonia Stevenson 40-35 shootout in the D1 final four. Muma, also a starter on the Colts hoops squad, is currently at Michigan State competing for a starting job at placekicker and kickoff specialist
