The Great Burnzini - Freaky Friday

OC Top Games - Friday (WEEK 2)
Picks:
Southfield v. FH Harrison – You can't stop Southfield RB Dae'von Robinson, you can only hope to contain him! D-Rob rumbles into the end zone for the game-winning score as time expires and the Blue Jays show just how formidable they will be this season!
Southfield 27, Harrison 26
West Bloomfield v. Clarkston – Wolves senior captain Chris Canada and junior quarterback Mitch Baenzinger will personally deliver to the Jungle C-Town's first win of the year, combining for 3 scores through the air
Clarkston 28, WB 21
Troy Athens v. Pontiac – Match-up of one of the best WR in the area in the Red Hawks Jake Duzey and best "cover corners" in the area in Pontiac's Mario Burkett. Playing in front of his home crowd, Burney says ADVANTAGE: Burkett and the Phoenix. Athens will hang tough, but in the end won't be able to keep up with Pontiac's speed on both sides of the ball
Pontiac 25, Athens 20
Toledo St. Johns v. Birmingham Brother Rice – TWO WORDS: AL FRACASSA.  The Warriors need a win to so they don't go into a mega-tough battle with Highland Park in Wk 3 winless and the ULTIMATE GOLD STANDARD in the OC coaching fraternity schemes his squad to the victory!
Brother Rice 30, St. Johns 26
Highland Park v. OL St. Mary's – The Eaglets' Nasty Boyz 'D, are well, NASTY and St. Mary's stadium lights dedication is a SMASHING SUCCESS (cue James Ross, Cortez Riley, Marcus Gleaves and co.)!
OLSM 17, HP 10
Farmington v. RH Adams – Adams senior placekicker Cameron Casey gets his kicks BY KICKING the Highlanders to victory with a 33-yd FG to win it in OT. Farmington has come a long way since lopsided defeats the past two years, yet not quite far enough to top mighty Adams in its own crib. ANNESE BROS. SHINE AGAIN and PARTRITO GANG PARTIES LATE INTO THE NIGHT
Adams 31, Farmington 28
Lake Orion v. Rochester – Very intriguing match-up in Burney's eyes here and if Rochester can keep it respectable, I will know the Falcons are for real this season. Nonetheless, the Dragons are too dominating across the board for Rochester to even think of sneaking out a 'W. Senior RB Marques Stevenson goes for 125 and 2 TDs and junior QB Sean Charrette throws for 225 and a pair of scores, allowing LO head coach Chris Bell to ring the victory bell after Friday night's road triumph!
LO 32, Rochester 23
UofD-Jesuit v. Birmingham DCD – 'Jackets' senior QB Josh Harris is the field general with the most college potential in the county this year and he continues to show why against the Cubbies on Fri night. Carter Elliott and David Brown lead another standout showing by the team's 'D and the 'Jackets serve notice that they are just as good as everyone thought they would be before the season started
DCD 34, UofD-Jesuit 22
Southfield-Lathrup v. Oxford – Burney smells the 'Cats first 'W' in their new conference with Bud Rowley's bunch of ballers getting ready to host the seemingly-always up-and-down Chargers brigade coached by Stephon Thompson. Get busy the SUPERCRAZYCOOL tailback tandem of Prescott Line and Anthony McDougald!
Oxford 26, S-Lathrup 24
