Hayes, a freakishly athletic 6-foot-2 225-pound specimen of a football player, will most likely be the Eaglets' starter at tailback and linebacker next fall, as St. Mary's tries to rebound from a rare playoff absence.

He passes the eye test with flying colors, despite his lack of experience on the field; this past season during his sophomore campaign he played little due to some minor injuries. When you look at him, you see greatness. He's a total package (size, speed, strength, etc) on paper and has the potential to ERUPT in 2014.....
