Blogs > Burney's Bytes
Burney's Bytes will focus primarily on the local preps sports scene, but will also touch on some college and pro athletics, mostly in regards to athletes who hail and have played high school sports in Oakland County. My goal for the blog is to be conversational and anecdotal, a more relaxed and free formal take on high school athletics than you see in regular game day coverage.

Oakland County say goodbye to Waterford Mott two-sport standout D'Monta Harris - He's making the move from the Kensington Lakes Activities Association to the Macomb Athletic Conference. The basketball & football star entering his senior year, has transferred to New Haven. Harris is a 6-foot-4, 195 pound forward on the hardwood and a wide receiver on the gridiron. Last winter, Harris was Mott's hoop squad's leading scorer and rebounder, named all-league out of the KLAA Central Division at the conclusion of the campaign.
