Blogs > Burney's Bytes

Burney's Bytes will focus primarily on the local preps sports scene, but will also touch on some college and pro athletics, mostly in regards to athletes who hail and have played high school sports in Oakland County. My goal for the blog is to be conversational and anecdotal, a more relaxed and free formal take on high school athletics than you see in regular game day coverage.

There's lots of great players out there....Let me tell you about another one who never gets recoginized...Stoney Creeks Taylor Rawlings....Averaged 13.7 Ppg. 105 rebounds so far this season, 10 per game. 22 blocks and 8 charges so far. He has a free throw percentage of 86%. He has made 46 out of 53. He just broke the school record for points per game. Plays with heart and is a leader on the team. Is being recruited to play college.
I know there are others out there who are constanly over looked. Lets hear about some of the other great player out there and not the same guys over and over again.
